Personal Growth and Lessons Learned

Looking back on the filmmaking process, I see how much I’ve grown. From the first day at Holiday Park to the final cut, I learned patience, adaptability, and attention to detail. Filmmaking is not just about recording scenes, but about shaping a story that connects with the audience. I faced several hardships along the way. The lighting at the park kept changing, which made continuity difficult. Some footage had to be redone because the framing or mood did not match the rest of the film. Filming at alternative locations like the thrift store and a local food spot required creativity and quick problem-solving. Sound was also a challenge, with traffic and background noise disrupting takes. Managing all of these details while keeping the story suspenseful was not easy. Changes Made After the Reviews

After getting feedback from both my older sister and our mutual friend, I reviewed all their suggestions carefully. Both reviewers pointed out small things like a scene that felt slow and a transition that could be smoother. I thought about how to apply their advice to improve pacing and suspense. I suggested trimming the slow scene slightly to keep tension strong. I also recommended smoothing the transition so it would feel more natural. Even small changes like adjusting a pause or timing a line differently could make the scenes more engaging. I took notes and shared them with my teammate so the final edits could reflect the feedback. Not every suggestion needed a change. Some parts of the film were already working well and did not need adjustments. Even so, reviewing the feedback helped me think critically about the story and pacing.
